Welcome to The Lower Macungie Garden Club website. Established in 2010,our Club is located in Lower Macungie Township, Pennsylvania.


Our mission is to promote interest and involvement in the arts of gardening, landscape and floral design; to encourage the study of horticulture; and to protect trees, wildflowers, and wildlife. We exist to educate the public and help make our community a greener place.

Our Commitment to Community


Lower Macungie Garden Club (LMGC) provides educational programs, maintains five gardens on the campus of Lower Macungie Township, including an award-winning Butterfly Garden, plants the flowers at a war memorial and takes care of plants in the LMT library. Our "Gardens of Excellence" program recognizes outstanding private gardens in our township. Also, an annual scholarship is awarded to a qualified graduating high school senior who resides within East Penn School District.


Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Lower Macungie Community Center except for the months of July, August and December. Guests are always welcome.

Announcing Lower Macungie Garden Club's Scholarship in the amount of $2,000.00

Any qualifying high school senior who plans to enroll in a post-secondary program is encouraged to check with Emmaus High School's counseling office for the criteria and application form to apply for this scholarship. The field of study includes horticulture, agriculture, landscape design, botany or environmental science.
