Welcome to The Lower Macungie Garden Club website. Established in 2010,our Club is located in Lower Macungie Township, Pennsylvania.


Our mission is to promote interest and involvement in the arts of gardening, landscape and floral design; to encourage the study of horticulture; and to protect trees, wildflowers, and wildlife. We exist to educate the public and help make our community a greener place.

Our Commitment to Community


Lower Macungie Garden Club (LMGC) provides educational programs, maintains five gardens on the campus of Lower Macungie Township, including an award-winning Butterfly Garden, plants the flowers at a war memorial and takes care of plants in the LMT library. Our "Gardens of Excellence" program recognizes outstanding private gardens in our township. Also, an annual scholarship is awarded to a qualified graduating high school senior who resides in Lower Macungie Township.


Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Lower Macungie Community Center except for the months of July, August and December. Guests are always welcome.

August ~ No meeting - Members busy in the gardens maintained by our Club -  Public is invited to view our gardens on the Lower Macungie Township Campus, Brookside Road




September 11 ~ No Meeting  - Field Trip this month


September 19 ~ Members Only Field Trip to The Dahlia Farm



October 9 ~ Program on "Dried Flower Arrangements" presented by Lisa Walton. Guests are invited.
